An awesome little church we found at Barry NSW [About 5 mins from our little town].
A traditional country Anglican church, but totally Australian with the corrugated iron, rocky foundation and rusty roof. I love it!!

A Pretty Curse

Between our town, and a town called Orange [And just this side of Millthorpe], There is a little odd shaped paddock off to the right. The purple flowers are called "Paterson's curse" and they spread like wild fire. Yet they aren't anywhere around this area, except in this paddock. Interesting.

Rising Sun

When i got up for a walk this morning, There was a nice line of yellow along the horizon. This photo was taken at my front gate.

Funky Sets

This is a sunset that i "chased" across town. The clouds were a bit seporated, and the brilliant red was between them. I drove to a high point to take the pic, but by the time i got there, and out of the car, all that was left was this little red spot on the horizon. It still looks pretty funky though :o)

Frosted Grass

This is a paddock just out of town, with a tinge of frost, At 8:30am

Fogged In

This is what our town looked like this morning. We are kinda in a basin, and when it gets foggy, it just sits in the basin like a thick blanket. You can see the hills peeking out on the other side. Under that blanket are factories, schools and homes. This pic was taken from "the lookout", the highest place in town. You can see the lookout from the background in the previous post to get an idea of what you aren't seeing.

The kids go to school out of town. As soon as i got out of the basin, it was as clear as day. Looking back, you can see the blanket.

I shoulda added pictures of what it looks like without the fog, so you can see why it's cool enough to take pics. Maybe i'll do that tomorow :o)
