When onions sprout in the fridge, sometimes beyond saving, i don't throw them out. I plant them in the garden, because they have this awesome, tall flower that is about the size of a baseball. I love them!

Finally A Pic Of The Blogs Namesake!

While sitting outside under the pack porch, enjoying my morning cuppa on a rainy day, this little fellow was being a big nosey parker.

Then he got a wiff of my morning breath i guess, and figured he'd move back the other way...

The Iris

Spring is awesome! These are new irises i planted the year before last and they didn't flower last year. I kinda thought maybe the bulbs were duds. But then this week they've flowered and they were worth the wait :o)
The top one is much prettier in "reality". It is golder around the edges like the bottom one is mauve.

We Remember

It's remembrance day in Australia. A day to remember the soldiers that fell, so Australia could have freedom [Just like ANZAC day] The red poppy is a symbol of this day. These poppies are in my garden :o)

Jesus fell so every single one of us could be free. Remember that EVERY day!

Gardening Australia.

I took this pic of a geranium in our garden, because the flowers are different colours with different patterns, on the same flower stem.
But what i like about it most is, it looks like Australia! :o)

Autumn Spectrum

It's Autum here down under, and i love the changing trees!

Below is a picture i thought was interesting. The yellow tree standing in front of the red tree makes it look as though orange meets in between. Don't you think?

The photo below is me looking up into the tree. These trees look fantasic because the wood is almost black. And all the leaves turn this pale yellow at once. It's an awesome effect!

This is what the whole tree looks like, but it's colour is more brilliant in the sun.

Here is an awesome red tree. It was a more brilliant red when i took the photo. Not quite as burgundy. But it still looks lovely :o)

I really love these geraniums, So i'll probably post pics of them a lot!

The one above really is that brilliant pink. Isn't it an awesome colour?

These ones are so lovely because each flower is a different shade of gradual pinks. I can't grow the plants very big before the frost gets to them. But a vase full of these flowers would look great!

It's the 2nd week of Autumn here in Australia, and this morning i took some pictures of the flowers just starting to bloom in our garden.
